BERTHING INSTRUCTIONS

The following are instruction for berthing reservations at the Admiral Kidd Inn,  San Diego, California.  Note:  This is a change from previous years when the Symposium has been held at the Naval Amphibious Base, Coronado.  Both the Symposium and berthing will be at the Admiral Kidd Inn/Club.  Additional details regarding the West Coast Symposium will be forthcoming in the next few months. 

Please note that there is a June 9, 2009 deadline for making a reservation under our block.

Members requiring berthing will make their own reservations using the following instructions:

1. Go to www.dodlodging.net

2. On the Navy side, hit “Select Base”

3. Under California, select “Point Loma FASWTC”

4. On the next screen (you may need a certificate exception), hit the blue button next to “Online Reservation”

5. On the next screen, enter our group number (30460006300) in the “Group Reservations” box on the left

6. On the next screen, fill in the balance of the reservation information and click “Select” in the Admiral Kidd box

7. On the next screen, choose the $37.00 room and click “Reserve”

8. On the next screen, either log in or create a new user (purple button)

9.  If logging in, make any changes such as credit card and hit Reserve.  If creating a new user, fill in all required information and hit Reserve.

For those attending on AT or IDTT orders SATO will automatically reserve berthing for you in the SD area, please remember to cancel the SATO reservations once you have reserved your room at the Admiral Kidd Inn.  Directions from the airport and base maps are located on the www.dodlodging.net website.  The Admiral Kidd Inn is less than a mile from the airport, and the front door to the Inn is within easy walking distance from the front gate of the facility.
