As you all know, the Navy is increasingly
utilizing electronic communications to disseminate information. As such, it is
imperative that all members of our program be able to send and receive
information effectively.
Our primary means of communication will be through our individual NMCI
accounts. I understand that many of you have had problems with your accounts
and access. I encourage all of you, in the coming months, to work closely with
your NOSC to ensure that you have the ability to utilize NMCI. This is an issue
that is a top tasker for each member of the Reserve Law Program. Our goal is
100 percent compliance by 01 July 2007.
In addition, we have commercial email accounts listed at
www.nrjag.org. This email directory has been updated today to resolve
a backlog. I ask that each update, if necessary, your email addresses as
soon as possible. This will serve as a back-up to our NMCI addresses.
Please continue to work with your chains of command on our goal of effective
communication through NMCI and nrjag.org.
